Best-Selling Book Series
This Contributor Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between WTF To OMG with a Little LOL 2, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Company”), and the individual acknowledging and accepting this Agreement electronically (“Contributor”). The Company and the Contributor are collectively referred to as the “Parties.”
The Company is producing books for the collaborative book series titled ‘WTF to OMG with a Little LOL’, (the “Books”), and the Contributor desires to contribute their personalized chapter to a book in the series under the terms set forth herein.
1. Payment Terms
1.1 Total Price:
The Contributor agrees to pay a total participation fee of $3,900.
1.2 Payment Options:
Option 1: Pre-Payment Discount
The Contributor may pay the full amount of $3,510 (10% discount) upon signing this Agreement.
Option 2: Installment Payments
Two Payment Plan: $1,950 due upon signing this Agreement.
Second Payment: $1,950 due no later than five (5) days after receiving your finalized agreed- upon chapter from the Publisher.
1.3 Payments & Non-Payment Clause:
All payments are non-refundable.
If the second payment is not made within five (5) days of receiving your final chapter, the Company reserves the right to:
Remove the Contributor’s chapter from the Book.
Forfeit any physical books and marketing materials owed to the Contributor.
The Contributor remains contractually obligated to pay the $1,950 balance in full, plus any late fees of $12.19 per week, or 2.5% of the outstanding balance, and any costs associated with collections.
2. Contributor Obligations
2.1 Co-Creation Process:
The Contributor agrees to actively participate in the co-creation of their chapter by:
Executing this Agreement and making the required payment(s).
Setting an appointment with the Publisher or assigned agent for a one-hour interview to outline the essential components of their WTF to OMG story, making themselves available for the interview within seven (7) days of contract signing and payment received.
Providing any additional information, materials, or clarifications requested by the Publisher to support the chapter's development.
2.2 Editing Process:
The Company will provide a professionally edited first draft of the Contributor’s chapter.
Contributor Review:
1. The Contributor is able to approve or make suggestions to the first draft within five (5) days of receipt.
If the Contributor submits suggestions, the Publisher will review and respond with modifications (at the Publisher’s discretion) within ten (10) days.
Should there be a second and final edit request by the Contributor, it must be submitted within five (5) days. If the Contributor fails to respond within this timeline, the Publisher will finalize the chapter at their sole discretion.
2.3 Company Obligations
Deliverables (Upon Payment Completion):
The Contributor will be recognized as a Co-Author in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling book series ‘From WTF to OMG with a Little LOL’.
Professional editing and formatting of the Contributor’s chapter.
Initial marketing materials (e.g., personalized social media graphics, contributor banner).
Physical copies of the Book (20 paperback copies).
Finalized marketing materials (e.g., promotional graphics email templates).
Additional paperback copies may be purchased at the author’s price plus shipping and handling for up to 12 months following the Book’s publication.
3. Intellectual Property and Royalties
Publisher Ownership:
The Publisher retains all royalties, sales revenue, and rights related to the Book and any related products, including but not limited to merchandise, movies, television, and other derivative works, without further payment or obligation to the Contributor.
Contributor Copyright:
The Company retains the copyright to their individual chapter but grants the Contributor a perpetual, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, and market their chapter.
4. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
5. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior agreements. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
6. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
